Volunteer for District 9!
EDUCATION COACHING TEAM MEMBERS No experience required. A love to learn something new and help out chapters is a plus. Team members are trained in the specific area by the Education Coaching Team Leader. The position is about a one hour per week commitment. Team members are matched with 2-3 alumnae and/or collegiate chapters. The team member serves as a resource for the chapters in her specialized area of Education. The area of Education includes Advantage Membership Initiative, Ritual, Programming, Scholarship, and Philanthropy. She has at minimum monthly contact with collegiate chapters and bi-monthly contact with alumnae chapters. She sends a monthly update of her contact with the chapters to the team leader. Team members are expected to attend District Days, which is held yearly in the district, and to attend the District Meeting, a meeting specifically for volunteers held the same weekend as District Days. FINANCE COACHING TEAM MEMBERS No experience required. Experience with money, budgeting, and fundraising is a plus. Team members are trained in the specific area by the Finance Coaching Team Leader. The position is about a one hour per week commitment. Team members are matched with 2-3 alumnae and/or collegiate chapters. The team member serves as a resource for the chapters in her specialized area of Finance. The area of Finance includes budgeting, fundraising, and helping chapters with collecting dues. She has at minimum monthly contact with collegiate chapters and bi-monthly contact with alumnae chapters. She sends a monthly update of her contact with the chapters to the team leader. Team members are expected to attend District Days, which is held yearly in the district, and to attend the District Meeting, a meeting specifically for volunteers held the same weekend as District Days. RECRUITMENT COACHING TEAM MEMBERS No experience required. A love for meeting new people and an enthusiasm for the sorority is a plus. Team members are trained in the specific area by the Recruitment Coaching Team Leader. The position is about a one hour per week commitment. Team members are matched with 2-3 alumnae and/or collegiate chapters. The team member serves as a resource for the chapters in her specialized area of Recruitment. The area of Recruitment includes promoting year round recruitment, public relations, assistance with formal rush, and more. She has at minimum monthly contact with collegiate chapters and bi-monthly contact with alumnae chapters. She sends a monthly update of her contact with the chapters to the team leader. Team members are expected to attend District Days, which is held yearly in the district, and to attend the District Meeting, a meeting specifically for volunteers held the same weekend as District Days.
